However, there is no Pond in the game that has super exquisite fish that are not encounterable anywhere else. In fact, there is that one location with nothing in it but 3 separate fishing spots (which unlock progressively as you go through the game) and one shop keeper there.
The very last fishing pond there has literally all the fish in the game, so in that sense you don't have to feel obligated to check out every single fishing spot, as you will eventually have access to all fish in that location anyway.
