is it random? i cant get it spawn the sarcophagus. i fought it once before if i recall.

Every dungeon has randomly generated areas, events, and enemies. The same is true with the sarcophagus, where you can initially refuse help and join a fight and then you do what he asks and you will face an enemy elsewhere.

If I'm not mistaken if you do what he asks first, you won't be able to face him inside Iron Outpost anymore.

For you to confirm that you have already faced him in the first dungeon (or in the endless arena), see if in your bestiary you have the Shade of Belevros record (page 9).

in my bestiary i have shade of belveros beaten. so i need to fight it again in deadwatch? i need high paladin armor :).

i still cant get lord belveros to spawn in deadwatch. there's a room with inscription saying here lies lord belveros. but he didn't spawn. anything im missing?

You must find the sarcophagus again in the first dungeon and do what it asks, then go to the fifth dungeon and face it.

does it need to be done in NG+? i'm on normal though. i checked i got the paladin armor but not the high paladin armor. does high paladin armor drop is random? and i still need the phylactery too

Btw.. my armor is purple in color. How do you make it orange legendary?

In the last dungeon (eighth) there is an event (random) where you can change the rarity of equipment to the legendary level, as long as you have a certain amount of a specific item. But don't worry so much about it, well, at least in the first gameplay.

it seems that to only get legendary besides the method you mentioned is really just go NG+. and max out perk points (max level for everyone) + perk books. anything else i missing?

What I can tell you to do before going to NG + would be the following:

- Catch all the fish, this will make the game easier on NG +, I will not say anything more about it so you don't have spoilers;

- About maximizing (having all the perk points of all the characters), this only happens when you have played the game for at least 4x or if you "farm" Shadow Coins. I always leave everyone with the same amount, but if I want to focus on one, I suggest Garrion with at least 122 points;

- Whether farming or not, you should buy all tomes at a discount and after that invest in the tome that costs 45 coins or others to make adjustments (if you want all characters with the same amount of points);

- If you want you can buy the 6 alternative skins of the characters, the ones you buy in the first gameplay, are saved in the following gameplays.

- Try to get the maximum amount of Beast Perks, not that you have to complete them all, but the more you have the better, I would only "farm" the + 10% XP, if you haven't already;

so far i have maxed level for 3 char.. gully, garrison and calibreto. leveling alumon in the arena now. perk books seems limited in the shop. even if you can fish shadowcoins? garrison is no where near 122 points. around 104 points currently.

i'm planning to have alumon, garrison and monika in NG+ as my main team. alumon seems very weak? calibreto is so good.. and gully mostly used for tanking but her skills on %damage HP is pretty good as well.

Discounted books are limited, but those with no discount are unlimited (for example, what costs 45).

Any trio in the game should be feasible to play, but even though I have some experience in the game, I only play with two teams, the initial trio (Calibretto, Gully and Garrison) and the secondary trio (Alumon, Monika and Knolan).

thanks! fishing seems very slow in farming shadowcoins. is there a faster way? i'm still in normal game yet to move to NG+. kinda love monika and garrison alot. calibreto is the only healer. wondering if replacing bretto with knolan good?

also im just farming in arena.. upping level of underlings one by one. really slow. btw.. is there any key that can cancel animation? kinda bored watching same animation again and again endlessly.

With fishing for shadowcoins I had Garrison up to like 160 and the rest of the gang around 130 iirc by the end of my first run. Don't bother buying the 45 coin books. Just buy the ones that cost like 15 or something once you've bought all the discounted books. To max out perks you'll really need 2-3 runs through the entire game.

As for leveling... Arena is far slower than the Airship Pirates that fly around the world map. By using 2 max level characters and 1 low level character at a time I managed to max level the 3 unused characters in a matter of about 30 minutes combined right before the end of the game as the Airship Pirates are always higher level than your party.

Yeah you can keep doing new NG+.

Strange. Garrison should be single handedly one-shotting everything... and Gully should have enough shields up that enemies can't touch your actual HP at max level with a good perk setup and equipment.

do you need ultimate gear to beat the game on normal? was only thinking to get all legendary gear in NG+

i just managed to forge cursed blade. i'm only using garrison and breto plus any underlings. so kinda difficult i think? to level up underlings. also i cant seem to get the airships to spawn anymore. any ideas?
