kids, these days
btw
according to the kickstarter
"Each can eventually unlock more abilities than there are slots to equip them, so choosing can be difficult."
"Abilities unlock as heroes level up. Players can choose which abilities a hero leaves town with, however the slots are limited so choices will be difficult and based on overall party makeup. "
"Perks award passive bonuses and are arranged in a tree. As players move into a new tier of the perk tree, ability slots are unlocked.
Perk points can be earned a number of ways: leveling up, finding rare lore relics, and as rewards for killing rare bosses to name a few."
so theres at least some customization
After all, the characters are from a comic book series and they had a certain look.
About talents from what I've heard/read it's precisely what you fear. Characters will most likely have their specific roles.
Come back in a couple days/weeks and we'll be able to tell you more since the beta will be out.
they also have different dungeon skills
dunno whats there to "fear"
its like a classical jrpg from back in time
with a set amount of characters from whom you build your party with
not some crazy sandbox a milllion different possibilities matchups
id assume the guys that didnt play and like the 90s games, will be disappointed
expecting some crazy swiss army knife
