Also, it depends on your difficulty level and need for efficiency. If you're playing pure legendary mode, you need every level and piece of gear you have. Switching a character out means you have to go grind. Also, when damage and efficiency matter more, you can one shot those dungeons with Gully. I didn't need to buy or craft potions, and I could efficiently get through the entire dungeon. To me, that's incredibly fun.
She probably becomes less useful as your party's damage goes up and heals get stronger too, but she seems perfectly viable to me.

If you hit max level by the time the end boss shows up... it was easy to win.
Heres to hoping NG+ is harder!
His other Special "Devastation" can do some good quick big Damage like his other Normal which debuffs his Attack Power to 30% for some Rounds
