Dragon Scales / Phylactery for Gully's ultimate weapon.

I defeated Bevelros twice, but I got the Phylactery as opposed to the Dragon Scales as many guides state.

Now I can't get the Dragon Scales anywhere. Does anyone know where to find them?

I think Gully's ultimate weapon is the very last one you craft. It's from one of the mana chests near the final dungeon. You need to actually do the dungeon to get the keys to open it. So you won't have Gully's weapon until the final battle.

Thanks, found it. Almost there. I've finished the hunts and the legendary weapons, all characters but two at Lvl 30. Hope I can finish soon, I'm really enjoying the game but I'm so hooked I don't draw anymore. :)

How did you end up finding it? I've completed the Mana Rift dungeon twice, opened all the mana chests surrounding the dungeon, and still do't have the Dragon Heart Phylactery.

Aramus’ Legacy – This is Gully’s default starting weapon.
Dragon Scales – This item is tricky to nab as it requires running two dungeons and having randomly spawning things appear. First, we need to run through Dungeon: The Iron Outpost until we find a coffin containing a lich named Bevelros. He’ll ask you to let him out (although for completion's sake, you should do this twice and refuse and kill him the first time around for a bestiary entry). Once you have let him out, he’ll vanish. You’ll next encounter him randomly in Dungeon: Deadwatch. Killing him here will earn you the Dragon Scale.
Dragon Heart Phylactery – This can be found in one of the Mana Treasure Chests in the Deep Snow region. This is in the northernmost chest and required 5x Infused Crystal Shard to open (found inside Dungeon: The Mana Rifts).
40x Epic Parts – These are a common drop from enemy encounters and lootable containers in Dungeon: The Crimson Garden and Dungeon: The Mana Rifts.

This is wrong or at least it was when I did this. The phylactery is dropped by Belveros at his full power (he is a lich ....). You meet him in the Iron Outpost and if you free him you can meet him again in Deadwatch. If you defeat him there he'll drop the phylactery. The scales are found inside a mana chest. If I'm not mistaken it requires 3 or more keys to unlock.

Exactly, they swapped the drops for the Dragon Scales and the Phylactery. Most guides out there are wrong.

I had killed, freed, and killed Bevelros again, so I had the Phylactery, but i was missing the scales. I found them in the mana chest most to the north, requires 5 shards to open.

Interesting! See, I had already emptied all the mana chests to the north, but no dragon scales were found. Only when I went to the Iron Outpost, freed the lich, then killed him in Deadwatch (I did all this last night), then I finally got the dragon scales. Thanks for the replies!

(Also strangely enough the lich coffin was nowhere to be found when I did the Iron Outpost on the highest difficulty. I had to go back and do it again at medium difficulty to find his coffin.)

As far as I know it is a random encounter. Did many runs due to finishing the beastiary and he wasn't there every time. I played every dungeon on the highest difficulty only and encountered it. So it can spawn there ;)

Maybe they changed the drop location? Did it two times and both times it was lich = phylactery and chest = scales.

They did swap the drops. I also got the Phylactery with Bevelros and the scales in the chest.

Confirming that the Seam version as of 12/12/19 the Scale is in the outdoor northern most chest.
