Is it just me not getting any of this and not knowing where this drops? its needed for some of the bests items i can get at my lvl in crafting.

There can be a random purple forge that appears in a dungeon (dono the spawn %) but it's just a purple forge that you can use 3 times and it gives you shadow residue. I'm almost certain thats the only way to get them.

isn't that the one that lets you make blue versions of certain gear? While initially sounding cool, you just ignore it and overcraft the normal versions to purple as the other one is blue limited.

I´ll try it, the forge is in deadwatch. one for sure.

Yeah, it's a special interactable forge that randomly appears in Deadwatch. You need to give it Mythril Ingots or Ore and it gives you back some Shadow Residue. You can get three of them from one forge.

OK I can confirm that there is a PURPLE FORGE in DEADWATCH where you can make "Shadow Residue" in exchange for mythril ore.

I can confirm you need to find a Shadow Forge in the Deadwatch dungeon (bottom left area of the world map), There, you can exchange 1x Mythril Ore for 1x Pure Mythril Ingot, and 1x Shadow Residue; you can do this a maximum of 3x.
