The only factor I'd say that probably isn't intentional is that it seems that the XP bonus per OHKO increases retroactively the more of them you get. So while getting a OHKO on one mob may give a bonus 50 XP at the end of the fight, it appears that getting a OHKO on 10 mobs by the end of the fight gives much, much more, say 1,000XP each for a total 10,000 XP (Just an example, not real stats).
I think that's less an exploit and more of what's supposed to be a bonus for killing more enemies in one battle, just taken to the max since there is unlimited potential for more enemies to kill in those two encounters.
There should probably be a limit to stop the XP growth from OHKOs, but preferably not something earlier than what you'd find in the arena to avoid unintentionally nerfing people who grind there normally
As far as trivializing the leveling system early on having negative effects on someone's playing experience, I'd say that's more of a personal opinion. I don't mind it.
I wouldn't call killing enemies in-game cheating. Grinding maybe.
