Where though? The body of water is almost everywhere on the map.

It's the last point on the road that faces the river in the Mana rifts zone.
Using the teleporter go left then go north and then right again :D

Thanks! Don’t mean to necro this thread but I missed this because that’s not a river! It’s an inlet!

The treasure is buried northwest of the Central Wintervein Blinkstation, between two mountains.

This map's description is wrong unless we have been on an island surrounded by a river for this whole game.
It should read something like "Can see a water INLET from here"
