Monika or Garrison for damage?

I replaced Garrison with Monika almost immediately because she was better in almost every way when I got her. Was wondering if Garrison even out/gets better later on, or if Monika remains on top throughout.

I dont know what Monika does, never used her. But i 1 shotted the last boss with Garrison's burst 2 combo.

In fact i think he one shot every boss in game since i got the burst 2 / berserker combo. If not 1 shot damn close.

100% Red monika. Red Monika and Alumon are a must. Both have highest DPS imho. I used her to 2 shot the Sightseer. which had 13k+ HP. and she was 4 levels lower than the boss.

Garrison. 70k+ crit on max level on nearly every boss.

The game has burst damage issue once you have gears against boss so you will really want someone who can always deal damage to a bunch of targets at once to make fights faster.

Monika double shot for fast clearing older dungeons.

For boss one shotting garrison all the way. No one is even comparable to his damage.

For old dungeon clearing, high ap Alumon with Corpse Explosion perk is best I think.
Always attack the lowest hp target with whip and if there is a high hp mob between the three he will get hit by 2 explosions. (Just make sure to remove haste from other members so he always attacks first and u can end all fights in one turn)

I find that garrison Alumon and Monika is just perfect (Alumon can crit 100k healing aoe that turns overhealing into shields if anyone is doubting his heals, and his first burst is probably the best or at least tied with garrison's second burst and u can just pair them up together)

Keep in mind there is a stats bug that greatly affects DPS. Garrison is the most likely to be accidently affected.

Basically any character can be made to one shot bosses.

So until that is fixed the question is kind of moot.

Im' switching to Monika right now to exploit she is level 13 when may party is 10 and 11. She has a skill to clean effect that is also appealing, and for whole group, mm I feel I'll beat the second sewers boss with that.

Nah it's without the bug and garrison has the strongest damaging ability in the game, and that's even without the perk that drains 80 overcharge

Getting both overcharge perks and both masteries would easily make that ability crit over 500k

Although at level 20 Monika Is a beast with caldeus's pistols

Second burst gives the grp 65% crit chance for 2 actions

Yes I have 90% crit. Level 10 or 11? What you are talking about?

If you play Garrison right and only equip him with gear that adds damage and crit then he will destroy everything. I one shot every monster (without crits) and I one shot every boss with his level 3 burst. (including the final boss, killed him on my first turn)

Monika is great early-mid, but not as good as garrison endgame. That being said, why not take both? I do in my NG+ game. Calli, monika, garrison.

I'd switch calli with Alumon for the massive dps and full health aoe + full shields and his amazing level 1 burst "which stays up for the whole arena run fyi"

Level unlock only a subset of perks/skills, other at later level are hidden and can't be predicted.

I have no clue how you achieve 90% crit chance, so ok but how and at what level?
