How quickly do you get new characters?

In short, I loooove games like this, but that big robot annoys the hell out of me. Not sure why, but it's too big, and doesn't fit with the rest of the team for me. So, how quickly can I replace it?

Dude the robot is badass, he really grows on you (I thought he didn't fit in either but he is awesome).

I've played for 8hours and i'm still only using the 3 characters from the start. I assume i'll find the others soon though. I've loved all aspects of the game so far and can't wait to find the others.

That big robot is an AWESOME healer... so yeah if i were u i wouldnt switch him.

So 8 hours in, and still no other characters? Hm... not sure if I like that. But I bought this on PS4, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks, guys.

I have not been bored yet... there's gear and items to find and new monsters to battle so I don't mind not finding them yet. But MAKE SURE you read the lore in the game and hidden pages/books. Also pay attention to the story and don't skip stuff because it's really good so far.

Thanks again. I'm really looking forward to this game, and as I said, I love these types of games. It's just the big robot that bothers me. But I know there are six characters to pick from, so I just wanted to know how soon I can get rid of the one character I don't like. :-)

you will get a new guy once you reach the 2nd inn near junktown and the 5th member after clearing junktown dungeon.
