How to find Pirate captain?

Is there any way you can get him to appear? i know the ships spawn after a dungeon but ive had no luck :(

He spawn after a certain number of airships (like 20+)
You can't miss it, the airship ha a skull on it

pretty sure ive done that many but thx ill guess Ill have to do more, is the best way to spawn them doing a dungeon?

You need to clear at least 6 airships (# of different lieutenants, check bestiary). After that (and having completed Crimson Garden), the Captain's ship has a chance to spawn. Yes, it's grindy in the bad way.

Sky Captain Flintlocke and Sky Captain Shanker i can't find this two. Airship of this guys is the same Lieutenant ? I now who the airship High Captain Blothe is the big one. (Sorry for the broken english)

they shoud spawn just before him and there ships have smaller skulls on the front

I have kill 38 Lieutenant and nothin of this guys appear. I begin lost my hope :(

I got it top of the map near last boss, maybe check there sometimes

My steps is clear a dungeon and look everywhere and when i find 5 airship repeat the process. I hope it does not take as long as the Shade of Belevros took to me.

you made all of them after clearing Crimson Garden ? you have to clear it before the boss spawn

If anyone needs this here in 2020 year, you need to fight at least 6 airships with different lieutenants (check bestiary). After that AND after clearing Crimson Garden dungeon, you need to teleport a lot through the waystations in order to look for the Captain.

Teleport, walk a little bit to check, teleport again. I sleep 2 times and teleported about 8 times and found him twice.
