How to increase fishing equipment

Hi guys, I am newbie, I see my fishing equipment is just level 3, how can I buy or upgrade it ?

You have to buy better equipement at the shark-man (when you can sell your fish) or antiquity seller in the village

Just get the purple one from the shadow coin guy is not expensive and you can make that up shortly by the fish you can get.

Yes, the purple one is the best equipment (lvl 30)

legendary (orange) appears on the shadowcoin vendor in Harm's Way at either level 26 or completing Blood Garden Dungeon. (40 shadow coins each for lure and rod)

You can get a resonable updrade from shadow coin broker in Harm's Way mid-game. Also check the inn-keeper for cheaper alternatives.

Don't even bother fishing until the end of the game... it's pointless.

Get to level 26 or beat Crimson Garden which is the 2nd to last dungeon in the game. Go to the Shadow Collector and buy his Orange Fishing Rod and Lure... then head to the Fishmongers Warf above Junktown (2nd dungeon) and clear out all 4 fishing spots... warp back to harm's way, rest, and repeat for a good 2 to 3 hours until you obtain all the fish in the game.
