New Game+. How does it work?
I'm familiar with other RPG games NG+ where you carry over items/levels/experience, and I'm also familiar with some games raising the level cap and matching your previous level with the enemies in NG+.

I've been trying to find information related to the NG+ for this game however, and I've been getting very little information pertaining to it. I've read something about "Mythic" Difficulty being a thing, but haven't found much else. Do you carry over your items and levels? Does anything else happen in the story? Are there new bosses to fight (Those of you who have beaten the game once know exactly who it is I'm asking this about).

Or is it a purely fresh start with nothing changed except for a higher difficulty unlocked? Very confused, and not sure whether it's worth me doing another run through if there's nothing new.

You start off at level 1, your items are gone. Your gold and shadow coins are gone. (except the distinguished monocle which helps you see treasures/events in the dungeons, which is awesome!)

You keep your perks, and abilities are unlocked, as is your level 3 burst meter.

Your crafting recipes are gone.

The dungeon choices are Heroic / Legendary / Mythical (no normal anymore)

You have access to the entire party roster once you reach Harm's Way the first time.

I don't know if any of this will change in the patch tomm.

Thanks for the information! Do you stay the same level and such then as you keep your perks and abilities? And are you able to level further than level 30 as a result?

Also, is completing a Dungeon on Mythic done in the same was as original where you had to complete it once to unlock Legendary? Does Legendary need to be done for Mythical?

You instantly have access to mythic and it rewards a mythic reward "orange chest" which might drop orange gear.

Everything has a chance to be orange now even potions.

crafting can go up to 400% which makes craft able items orange as well

Thanks! Nobody has still addressed two major things I was curious about though:

Do you retain your level?

Is anything else added to the storyline and such? Do we get to fight against the big V? (Trying to be as vague as possible.)

you start at level 1 (not 30), and the max is still 30 this 2nd time around too.

You gain perk points as usual, so i went into NG+ with 130-140 perk points already done, so its fun to have them all ready to go and beast up your character, which is offset by their complete lack of levels and gear. I was level 5 doing mythical dungeon against level 9 mobs (i got to level 9 by the end of the dungeon though haha)

You don't have to do Legendary to unlock Mythical, its all ready to go from the get-go in NG+

Do you get to fight a different end boss? Other than y'know, CD maybe fight VR? :L.. I want to know this, because I want to kick his ass just like the rest.

You keep it as well as keep all open bestiary records.
Also if you catch all fish - Shark dude give his blade at the first visit, because fishiary records also stay with you.

sweet
:< I'm sad nobody seems to have an answer for one of the biggest concerns I have.

Is the story altered at all? Are there any inclusions at the end after beating the boss? Such as new area, or new boss to fight?

Also, something I just thought about: Do you retain your shop keeper investments, as well as your Gold?

Had no idea he gives a blade if u completed the fish achievement, could you link a pic of the blade or mention its stats
And to op, story doesn't change and u dont keep any shop upgrades or keep your gold or shadow coins.
"Have no idea if end boss changes (doubt it would) since I'm at the end game farming and testing stuff"

Didn't see someone said that. Hrm.. Must flip back through, but either way thank you for the clarification.

I'm on the fence about NG+ then, but will most likely end up running it. Thank you very much to everyone for their answers. Now to wait to see what the update in the morning will bring.

Hmm level 26, 1 level short of legendary :(
Kinda wish it was a level 14-15 sword to boost ng+ runs since it's kinda usleless at its current level (it's 1 level above mutiny which is so easy to get)

Oh and thanks for the pics!

A slight necro but...you keep your bestiary entries in the book? Because I still have some monsters that I didn't fought enough times to get full info on and I don't want to start from the scratch on NG+ with it(still not got Big Game Hunter achievement). If entries/encounters are moving on to the NG+ I'm happy and ready to do New Game+ next time I play this game ^^
