CyberLink PowerDVD 16 Ultra

CyberLink PowerDVD 16 Ultra

Did they ever add controller support for TV mode?
Title^

I used a trial when this first came out and was kind of wanting this for my HTPC for my blurays. The trial didn't let you use a 360 controller to navigate TV mode. I'd rather not use a controller to load up the movie, then grab my keyboard or phone to control PowerDVD. Did they ever fix this?

Hi BahumatIsBack,

As there are various 3rd-party controller hardware which might has its own control configuration exclusively, you may check if the controller button setting is consistent with the PowerDVD keyboard hotkeys control currently.
The PowerDVD keyboard hotkey control is available for both PC mode and TV mode, and the hotkey configuration is located at PowerDVD setting > Hotkeys/Mouse Wheel setting page.

In additition to the PowerDVD hotkeys control, you may check the PowerDVD Remote app to check the remote control feature on mobile device.
It can be downloaded at iTune Appstore for iOS device or Google PlayStore for Android device.

I don't keep my phone on me 24/7 and don't want to use it anyway since my HTPC uses a 360 controller as it's main control device. I have a wireless keyboard/mouse combo that I don't want to use either for the same reason. I don't want to switch back and forth between several interface devices when a controller can easily do simple left/right/up/down select/cancel operations. It did not work on the trial and I was wanting to know if it's been fixed while the summer sale was going on. Not almost a month later when the program is full price again. It would have been better not to get a response at all because at least I could have lied to myself that nobody saw my question.
