Can we get a refund like most Steam games?

I want to try this software out, but am afraid to shell out so much $$ if it doesn't work. Steam lets us refund normal games if we've used them less than 2 hours and within 2 weeks of purchasing. Can we refund PowerDVD in the same way? I'd be more willing to try it if we could.
