Does anybody also think that TTR reminds of the game Car Town?

Car Town was a popular facebook game that was shut down a couple of years ago. Both games have short and stubby cars, so TTR makes me think of Car Town.

I'm not sure what Car Town is, but the designs reminded me more of the Tomy Bit Char-G RC cars. Very small RC cars with a similar shrunken design. The cars in-game seem to be inbetwen those and the Mini-Z RC cars in scale, so I'd say the shape just comes from Micro RC cars in general.
