Scenario 1: 4 eggs
1) in the IUS. Find a hidden passage that leads to the egg visible to an area you can fall down.
2) in the jungle part of the labs. Use a red key to unlock a red door.
3) in the IUS. Go to the area with the lower save point and climb up and fall off some platforms. Use the ice rod on the lava.
4) in the Marble Atrium. Use the ice rod to freeze the well water and defeat the boss. You may need a red key.
Scenario 2: 3 eggs (I believe I am missing 1 here)
1) at the top of the stairs with the vampires. Fall down to the right, then fall from the left of the phaser door.
2) only in Scenario 2. Go to the top left area of lost Pagoda, Find a place to fall down. You will eventually find a door leading to a secret boss.
3) only in Scenario 2b. Same as the first egg in this scenario, except use the phasing device to pass through the door to the right. Enter the door that leads to a secret boss.
I have yet to solve the secret of climbing the chains near the entrance. I don't know whether it has an egg or not.
Scenario 3: 8 eggs
1) in the caverns, area near the right-most save point. Use the jump boots from the waterfall caves to jump across some platforms.
2) in the fire level. In the right-most building with many locked floors, you can enter one of them and go through a fake wall. Climb up to find the egg at the top.
3) in the inverted pyramid. While riding the block down to the next level (golden palace), there is a point where you can jump off to a secret area. Also near a secret character.
4) in the golden palace. After reaching the second area (near the shortcut back to the inverted pyramid) go to the right area. Make your way up and use the ice rod on the water. It is next to a secret character.
5) only in Depth. Unlock all of the doors blocked by six golden doors in the last area. Defeat the bosses and you will eventually reach an egg.
6) only in Free Depth. Play as either Eden or Eve and have at least 8 eggs. You will find a secret boss in the first area.
7) only in Free Depth. Reach the final area and find a shortcut back to the level before the cavern. You will find a secret character and an egg.
8) only in Free Depth. Beat the "ultimate opponent". Find the lasso beyond the locked golden doors, go back to the first area via a shortcut, and have at least 20 eggs.
Scenario 4: 7 eggs
1) in Florius. Go to the top-right platform and defeat some enemies. You will eventually find a chest.
2) in Florius. In the temple with the jump boots, keep heading to the left and fall. You will reach a platform with a chest.
3) in the Great Machine. In the area to the right is a maze of doors. Make yourself to the right side and enter the room with an egg.
4) in the Great Machine. Get the lasso by beating the boss. Make your way to the area with many ladders joined together and use the lasso on the left side to reach a platform with an egg.
5) in Libaronia. Make your way to the bottom-left area and use the lasso.
6) in Zylindarr. Go to the sewers area with a group of Zylindarrs. Use the lasso to reach the egg.
7) in Zylindarr. In the residence area use the jump boots to access a floor in a building with a chest. It is easiest to get there after exiting the library where you get the coordinate.
Scenario 5: 2 eggs
1) in the room where you fight Darking’s shadow. Head to the secret passage on the left.
2) in the room where you rotate the platforms. Unlock the lock that blocks it and use the grappling hook on the block to the top-left. Keep in mind that it will get you stuck and you will need to reset the scenario.
I could be wrong, but I pretty much scanned the other three scenarios. Unless there is some other secret passage I missed in IUS or the weird mouth thing in space has the egg.
The hint about climbing the chains came from a QR code from one of the later trap enthusiast issues. I can try looking again in Scenario 2 as well.
im currently on the first stage of scenario 2b and i cant seem to climb any of the chains, as they are all blue. i'm gonna walk around over all of it again, maybe its another chain they are referring?
Though if you already completed the scenario and return to it, you can just use the first red key on the door to the 4th egg since all acquired eggs are saved.
Maybe it'd be better to go right ahead and beat the game this time, and then start again in Freepy Castle if you want to explore for something different.
It is only after you have entered the Shadow Stair that you have reached a point of no return--- so other than that there is no need to restart,
That issue of trap enthusiast was not released on April 1st, so the hint is real...
I also beat all of the Free modes with Northernlion to no avail... he may be an egg, but he does not aid in our search for eggs.
Thank you, Schkitaska, for letting us know that there IS no 25th egg (aside from Northernlion), though the missing number is still bothersome...
There is an egg with the character, I just forgot to mention that it's next to a cameo.
For some reason, I somehow got the 25th egg after I beat the game by reentering the area where the second egg is. I assumed it was a bug so I didn't count it.
The "second one" in the first comment of this thread is.... Jungle Labs.
Or do you mean that an egg will trigger if we visit the place where Balrog was a few times? I've done that multiple times as well, but I don't know how many.
