Thanks
+1 For Gog !
GOG would be nice, getting very frustrated with DRMs lately (may be will buy it 2nd time on GOG if avaiable)
is there any new info about gog ?

i want to buy this game but if it will be available over there too ill wait

is there a chance that you release book of demons on gog via the in dev branch ?
Steam can be linked with GOG so if you'll buy game on Steam ane in future it will be available on GOG You will also be able to download it from there.
You are talking about https://www.gog.com/connect .
But it's not 1:1 obviously.
GOG does promotions from time to time and allows steam users to transfer few eligible games to your GOG library if they exist in your Steam library.

Same here, awaiting it's arrival!

Can't really necro-post when it's only a few topics below the most recent ones!
Just curious why you guys want GOG and not steam?

Are you having problems with games working on steam?

Usually it's about the ideology of DRM-Free.

Back in the day it was pretty common for everyone to say that kind of speech, but I guess Steam bought everyone else over the time with its influence, but still there're a few resistants around.

For me, I desire GOG because I figure Steam will not be around forever and with GOG I own the game DRM free.
For me GOG is like game boutique.
It has high quality stuff, but not so wide selection.
Plus you dont get crap-ware like drm over drm (steam + denuvo for example).
I can understand that. The only real issue I've had with steam is when my internet is down and my games won't load.

I can't remember if you have to be connected first to go into offline mode, which makes no sense.

Anyway... Let's hope steam doesn't go anywhere. I have a couple games on GOG, but pretty much everything is here. Don't really use anything other than steam.

I guess I'm not too worried about the DRM, cause like I said I've never had too much of a problem. But I guess others might have different experiences from me.

I guess my follow up question: Would the game be easier to hack... Meaning pass it around for free instead of having to pay for it? Maybe that's one reason game developers like using steam?
