And yes, I was making sure to only click the zombies once for the final blow and making sure to not pick any gold in between in case it would cancel the achievement.
For sure make certain you got the order right, sometimes I forgot the 3rd barrel
barrel barrel zombie barrel
barrel barrel zombie crap
make sure after destroying a barrel you dont pick up anything it drops
(sometimes it drops quick and you gotta watch out)
I dont believe the sound has anything to do with it, I know in like caps lock mode when all the titles of things are shown, different craps have different names, like one said 7 gold, there were like 2 other names I saw I think, I ended up using one that dropped from one of those shrine bookcase things I believe and that worked.
If you were extremely careful about barrel drops, and what you clicked, and that you got the order exactly correct and you've done it perfectly multiple times and still feel like you weren't awarded the achievement when you should've been,
then maybe there is an issue that should be looked into.
I got it a few weeks before BoD went live, so I know it was working correctly within the last month or so. A few days ago, I ended up chatting with someone who was having difficulties, and we managed to get it for him as well - so I believe it's still working...
The accidental barrel drops are probably the biggest difficulty, as is accidentally screwing up the pattern. The advice I can give is this:
1. Use the Rogue. It's the class with the best range, which means you don't have to move around as much - which means less accidental clicks on stuff
2. Use the keyboard movement, not the mouse.
I think that what screwed up the achievements all these times are my clicks on zombies which lead to missed attacks, and then the zombie dying to an autoattack right after, making the attempt fail (and giving me the impression that it was my click which killed the monster).
So the "Aww" sound is not required, and I'm not even sure that this sound is still in the game (hours played since last patch, and I haven't heard the character complain once) and it does not need to be the first thing done when you enter the level either.
