Edit: ah, thanks a lot for the link. Couldn't find it myself... :)
Could someone verify, that wasn't changed in any patch, since that post is from september? :D
1. Use the "save scumming" method: disable steam cloud, manually back up your save. If you die, reload your oldest save.
2. I *think* playing on casual difficulty instead of normal won't cause loss on death? Unsure, though.
3. Use more "disposable" cards instead of their legendary variants to start with. Not a fan of this, though.
4. Just go all-in blind and hope for the best. Losing cards is hurtful, but it'll certainly leave a wound that when healed, will make you play safer and better.
1. will see... :D when i step down to massacre, i'll backup the save. The dardevil status will be lost, but the cards should be restored, right? if i'm in the mood to go the lazy way then.. i'll see.^^
2. naah. The difficulty is exactly right for me. don't need weaker monsters or "no imposed cards". Just don't wanna lose any precious items. :D (don't know though what exactly is different on casual mode^^)
3. that came to my mind too... :D but then i cannot use them too.. that's not cool either. ^^
4. yeah well.. probably gonna go with that. ^^ if it's too hurting, the Daredevil is gone anyways and i can go for nightmare again....
Haters of a 70 year oldrocker,
You get the stars minigame when you get stunned, not when you are about to die.. or is this a casual mechanic? hmm
Until now "Massacre" isn't as hard as i thought. The imposed cards were bad, but my remaining favorized cards did the job anyways without big problems. Nice. :D (if Leap gets blocked by a boss, it's getting tough, but the rest is fresh meat.)
at least i got to Season Rank 24 on Rogue's list. ^^
