Auto loot?
As far as I can see there is no possibility of an auto loot option at the moment?!

Picking up all the gold and small stuff is becoming tedious extremely fast - especially those tiny tiny little hearts and mana crystals are a real pain! It's even worse with the current controller support, but I guess we'll have to wait for how you will implement full and final support in the end, so this should be left out.

While I feel that picking up stuff like cards should stay to be a manual and special process, I would love to have an auto loot option for small stuff like the mentioned gold, hearts, ...
Maybe even as a passive card! Where the base version is just able to auto-loot gold in a small radius and each upgrade increases the pickup range and adds the possibility to pick up hearts and mana crystals, ... The blocked mana crystals and card slot would be a nice compensation for the increased quality of life and "auto heal" in big and crowded fights, like the butcher cook level.

Mana crystals? Where do those drop. I already passed the Cook level and I've never seen a mana crystal. Just hearts.

The mage's Mana Shield for example has a chance to drop Mana Crystals upon being hit. There's also a magical variant of the Health Potion that has a chance to spawn Mana Crystals.

No auto collect, sorry. You'll have to get used to it. It's not that bad really. I like it, but I don't use a controller... Maybe that makes a difference?

I'm indeed getting used to it playing with Mouse/Keyboard. Using a controller picking up stuff is indeed very frustrating, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how the full controller support will be implemented.

The first phase of full controller support will affect menus and GUI, in-dungeon controls come later. The first phase will come soon, just got to test it properly after I get back from Digital Dragons (so ~3 days)

Totally looking forward to it! I'm especially curious how you will properly adjust using different active cards in the belt - especially with many active cards, switching between them with the cross is... subpar at best. Tried a controller run with my new lvl8 daredevil mage yesterday evening and died right at the first monster pack... :-D

Unfortunately that part of the GUI we consider being "in dungeon combat" so it's not in the first rollout. We still don't have a good idea how to handle this, controller only has so many keys :|

I'm curious why you use a controller? This game seems like it's made for mouse keyboard.

I bought a controller over the weekend so I could use it on dead cells, because that game seems better with a controller.

This game is only on PC, right?

For now, yes, but will have an Xbox port after launch.

Regarding controller on PC, it usually feels better to play on it, as you can sit back and relax more, whereas on KB+Mouse you have to be over a desk.

Well, I play 95% of my games on my couch in the living room - way more comfortable. Desk PC is only for strategy games and its like., which are not playable with a controller at all.

Yes the game was designed for Pc but controllers are surprisingly popular as PCs are often used as media and entertainment centers. We have even implemented eye tracking as input mode :-D We don't shy from experiments.

When will you implement brain waves as input mode ?
Gravity_Wolf 23/mai./2017 às 12:41
I want motion detection so I can swipe the baddies like Fruit Ninja... Lol

Intested brainnwave rig as an input device a decade ago. It didn't work :-D

Not impossible ;-) Just wait until we get our hands on a touchscreen!
