The story mode is 5-7 hours long with each class (right now there are two out of three classes in the game, so completing story mode with both takes 10-15 hours), depending on your playstyle.
After that, there is the freeplay mode which is endless and in which you can find remaining cards and level up all the cards you have (and with the next update there will be lots of card variants to be found and replay value will be much higher).
Or you can try to beat the game in Daredevil mode (permadeath, forces highest difficulty and how deep you managed to get into online leaderboards).
And we will probably add more achievements sometime soon since we are already reworking card system.
Is there any point keep playing once al lcards are leveled up to max ?
Currently, the cards are somewhat "fixed", so once you get them all and level them, there's no permanent progression anymore (since you'll already be at max level on your character).
There'll be more stuff later: card system will be revamped, a mastery system using keys of some sort, etc.
Pedestals will be for other standalone games in the series - we are planning seven games in total. To quote me from other thread:
There will be post launch DLCs and support for Book of Demons, but the pedestals are for other games in the series :-)

Level editor/Modding support are tagged as "In consideration".
Then it looks like you will get lots of gameplay from Book of Demons :-)
By the way, regardless of how long flexiscopes you create the total play time will be the same. The game allows you to finish it in chunks you prefer but adapts maps to always give you a complete experience (with a boss fight near the end, loot distributed in a rewarding way and such). So regardless of whenever you can finish it in 100 very small sessions or three very long ones the idea is that each session will leave you satisfied and total game time will be the same.
