2- There is only one end. There is a point in the story that is like a bad end, but it doesn't end, it just get worse and worse.
3- See answer 1.
Introduces the EXTRA version of the characters, which is kind of useless. Also, Watching the anime would spoil the VN, which is planned to be released in english sometime in the future (at least before HL3).
This is the best vn I've read in my life, even better than stein's gate (not bad, but not epic too). It was also released for us backer way before the end of august and most of us finished it in a week (50 hour playthrough average).
There is only 1 ending but your choices will affect who you spend time with (so more story for that chosen character), nothing you do will affect the ending though.
I don't know what PTSD does, but at some point in the game I was so tempted to just stop and end the game there because it was too painful to continue, yet I went through and loved every minute of it. At the very end I get a feeling of emptiness so at most you'll have the same feeling. You'll be wanting more muvluv but there are no muvluv right now >.>
Unfortunately there are no romance options in this game, so too bad. You get to be with 1 girl and 1 girl only despite getting choices. Your character has a personality and he sticks to it (hate it or not, I hate him tbh).
Anyways hope you enjoy the best VN ever. Like I said and will keep saying to everyone that is looking forward to the game, the first 20 hours of this game is the worst part, once you hit the 20 hour mark the pain train starts and when it starts, it never stops, so make sure you have a lot of time on your hand before getting through the 20th hour cause your brain will want to know what happens next!
But in the end, I think i'll give this one a try. Hope it will not turn into same дepьмo as Sunrider did in last episode.
2. The stuff you heard about PTSD is spot on. Muv Luv is a dark franchise in general and this game is where the series basically dropped the more family friendly stuff and made clear "THIS IS WAR."
3. Answer 1 again. There's only one route and one romance in it.
Alternative Sumika is a bit more dramatic than the original one, I didn´t find her as insufferable.
If you start reading this VN you won´t just be giving it a try, you´ll understand why does it have those high ratings.
I just wanted to add my 2 cents here, I also watched the 'Kimi ga Nozomu Eien' Anime before and I feel it was a good choice, didn't regret it at all. Knowing the EXTRA version of the characters isn't useless. Makes you appreciate the Unlimited/Alternative versions more. Same deal here as knowing the EXTRA versions of the main characters. It adds to the experience.
The only reason not to do this if you really want to play the VN and don't want to spoil it. I wasn't even aware that they are planning to release it.
