18+ patch

For those who have read the game wth all the 18+ parts intact, is it worth waiting for the patch to release before reading alternative for the first time or do they make such a small difference that I can just read those scenes after the patch releases?

The game has literally one small sex scene near the end. Also the girls usually wear a see-through uniform that shows their boobs all the time, which is honestly stupid, so this version is better without that silly nonsense.

Or maybe...just maybe...the long, overdrawn rape scene involving Sumika and the BETA looks ridiculous uncensored and takes people out of the story.

I had never read/watched ML:E or U before and Played bothe without the patch and then WITH, *i gave a looooooong discussion explanation over on that forum called my two cents* But I can honestly say Go ahead and play it now then get the patch later the worst if will do is not add anything to your expereince or the story for you so

I was only referring to the see-through battle uniforms as the silly part, not the sex scene. The one other removed scene is an embarassment to this VN, though. It's better gone.

and I was referring to the see-through battle uniforms mainly. I love the eyecandy while I'm playing, and that goes the same for the "other removed scene". I like all things lewd in games.

Alternative only has two sex scenes. It's not worth delaying playing the game for really (tbh just look up the CGs if you really care) but one of them was actually actually pretty hot imo. But yeah, emotionally you're not missing out too much.

Actually, they're not "see-through." The material is "translucent" according to the description but it is so far off from anyone's actual skin color that it is effectively opaque. Additionally, it's apparently thick enough to hide nipples as well judging by the artwork. When I first saw them they struck me as needlessly tight but actually less "sexual" than a swimsuit.

You can see that the suit isn't even close to Meiya's skin color.
As for judging whether it's "better without the sex," I'll leave that up to each reader's individual tastes.

Of course, since this is an "All-Ages" version, we get darker and nipless(sic) suits.

In the uncensored version of the game the suits are close to the skin tone, and you can barely see the nips.

@chomping No If you actaully play it you get an idea WHY from the game itself. The skinish tone ones were there to help the cadets get over feelings of shame and nerviousness beign in mixed company. The darker suits are the COMBAT versions
