[SPOILERS] Can't decide

So I'm at the second lunch decision, choosing between Meiya's fish and Sumika's manga meat (or w/e it's called). I'm having a hard time choosing, on one hand I kinda want to take Meiya's route, assuming this is an important decision, and on the other I like Sumika and it seems kinda sad to not eat her lunch since it was probably way harder for her to put it together, compared to a super rich person like Meiya.

I guess I could flee, if I really can't make up my mind. So, what did you guys choose? Is this even an important choice?

Guess I'm gonna have a hard time when I need to make real decisions later in the series, lmao.

Thanks for the reply. Is it a big deal if I flee'd then went to the Prep room where Marimo was? I mean I'm not locking myself into anything am I? And I already feel a bit invested with Sumika. I think harem is just in my blood though lol.

Thanks for the reply. Is it a big deal if I flee'd then went to the Prep room where Marimo was? I mean I'm not locking myself into anything am I? And I already feel a bit invested with Sumika. I think harem is just in my blood though lol.

There's no harem route, constantly avoiding love issues will end with you on a fishing boat.
Extra follows a pretty standard system where your choices get you relationship points, which then get checked at certain points in the common route and then lock you into someone's route.
You could check a walkthrough at fuwanovel but Extra's choices are pretty obvious and it's easy to get onto a route you want.

Yeah, figured there wasn't. I just wanted a little leeway in my decisions so they felt like my own, even though I'll be sure to focus on one girl for most of the choices. Just didn't want to be stuck with Marimo or something. Thanks for the replies.

You should do all the paths in Extra at some point, with Sumika and Meiya being the most important and originally considered mandatory to unlock Unlimited.

That said, Sumika is love. Sumika is life.

I plan to do both. It's really causing me anxiety choosing these damn lunches though haha. Also I think if I knew someone as long as Sumika it would be like a sister type of affection, idk though.

I don't know if you've played VN before but I suggest to make a save everytime a choice appears. That way you can easily go back to the choice part to choose another answer. Not to mention it'll help you in playing unexplored routes without the need to start over after you have finished the game.

Still, I know how you feel. Back in the day it's really hard to choose between Sumika and Meiya for me. I kinda prefer Meiya but Sumika just feels so close and kinda reminds me of someone IRL. Just go with the first that come to your mind I guess. :P

Also IIRC just like Rignel says, Extra routes is pretty straightforward especially for Meiya and Sumika the 'important choice' is the last one near the end of the game.

In relation to Unlimited, the girl which you have finished the route on Extra just before playing Unlimited will be the first girl you met on Unlimited. To change which girl, just replay her Extra route ending again just before starting a new Unlimited game.

Yep, first time for me. I've been saving pretty frequently, at every choice as you mentioned. Love triangles always screw with my mind, happens everytime I play a VN or something like the Witcher 3 for example. I'll definitely play both Meiya and Sumika's route, and the rest at some point. I like them both pretty equally.

I'm seriously losing my ♥♥♥♥ over choosing Sumika or Meiya near the end of extra. I know I should do both routes, but the first playthrough in my mind is the definitive one. Any replaying after that loses all immersion for me.

Man this is really one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make in a game. Thank God this hasn't happened to me in real life.

Well, I finished Meiya's route first then I did Sumika's. Not sure how I feel with either one to be honest, still a bit sad with both. I really enjoyed extra though. Looking forward to unlimited :)
