Director's Cut Patch Installation Instructions

[Muv-Luv]

Director's Cut patch[denpasoft.com] installation guide:

1. Install Muv-Luv on Steam. If you have already installed Muv-Luv earlier than November 26, let Steam auto-update the game to version 1.15.
   
2. Start Muv-Luv once.
   
3. If you are a backer and have download the patch in BackerKit -- please remove <uploads_*gibberish hexadecimal numbers*_2F> from the filename so that the two parts of the patch are named "MuvLuv_DirectorsCut.zip" and "MuvLuv_DirectorsCut.z01", respectively.
   
4. Extract the zip file, then run MuvLuv_DirectorsCut.exe to install the patch.

P.S. If windows extractor and 7zip doesn't work, use WinRAR[www.rarlab.com] instead. 7-zip's latest version is confirmed to be working too.

Q: How to know if the patch is installed correctly?
A: There's an early event in-game where Takeru barges into Meiya's room. A CG[puu.sh] will show up where Meiya's changing clothes. Her "Buhboobs" should be visible if the patch is correctly installed.

Q: My card has been rejected by Denpasoft, what should I do?
A: Just email [e-mail] and they'll assist you in making the purchase.

I followed the steps, but I'm concerned. Is the game suppose to read Muv Luv Ages - 7.0 on the top of the window? How do we know for sure that the patch is installed correctly?

Yup, that's fine. You can be sure if the patch is installed correctly if you see NSFW scenes after making some progress.

I can confirm that 7zip is unable to extract these zip files, but windows explorer is able to succeed. I wonder what is wrong with the encoding on those files which causes 7zip to fail.

Do you only extract the zip file and not the .z01 file? I did that but I dont believe it worked, even though it said installation successful

I confirm as well. I installed Winrar just to extract the DX patch and it worked. Cool update btw.

If the extraction process is successful and you were able to execute the .exe file, then it worked.

If you downloaded the patch through Denpasoft, you just need to update Muv-Luv to 1.15, run the game once, then run the installer. It will automatically patch the game.

I downlaoded the patch from denpa And got a file.......Do i run it? or

I got it now Change the File you get from denpa To a .exe name and run it....It downloads as a FILE not an EXE

Yeah It was not an EXE file just a File. I renamed it and added .exe making it an applicaiton and Boome it worked


IE MuvLuv_DirectorsCut No ,EXE Jsut adding it fixed it. Boom,

Muv LUV Team any other ways to know the application install was succesful?For instance there was not an opening before was there? Did the Directors patch add this new opening? If not any words or sections to know the install was successful? I followed instructions
