Escort side missions

Anyone else thing the AI of the characters during escort side missions need tweaking? There are so many times where they're just running in circles or doing nothing despite the area being completely clear. Annoying when I'm having to wait for them to get access to the dire subjugation target.

sometimes they stop movin till you get close to them and "escort " them like , you know , accompany them xD

Even tried that. Was just on a survey mission with an escort Connie and he wouldn't budge. I know he's supposed to be stupid, but not that stupid :P

Well i gues you underestimated his power xD its annoying yeha , but luckily there arent THAT many escort missions atleast ^^

I've noticed they get stuck a lot, like they'll be running into walls, fences, buiildings, etc...

I have to try and push them out so that they can start moving again.

i have this with eren in the bite mission cant get past it because half way through he just runs in a circil and ♥♥♥♥♥ mc ♥♥♥♥♥ robbs him

the escourt missions are the absolute worst. Watching my allies go in circles, and the civilians walking at a brisk crawl are super annoying.

Circle running AI can sometimes be "corrected" by pushing them around a bit.
Though if they decide to just stand around your best bet is running off and doing something else till they decide to start moving again.

Funnily enough,the same applies for the enemy AI.
Seeing the female Titan run around in circles can be quite amusing.

I get escort missions all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time, and I hate them...

Now that I'm playing this game at a higher level, I've increasingly noticed this annoying idleness of the escort characters. I've even had one mission featuring FOUR escort side missions and they all just stand there or encircle for prolonged periods of time, costing me an S rank mission timer.

Any other additional clues to "spur" them forward would be appreciated.
