Easy mode & gore options?

So once I booted the game up for the first time I obviously said no to Easy mode and no to disabling gore. There's blood in game whenever I kill or injure a Titan, however the cutscenes appear to have none, does this setting only apply to the gameplay? Because the scene where Eren's mother gets eatenI noticed the distinctive spray of vicera from the manga/anime was absent.

The game also feels kinda easy so far and that's me just finished the first arc, is there a decent difficulty curve further ahead?

I'm loving the game so far though, the movement is awesome and combat feels satisfying with every hit landed. Pretty solid port too outside the online issues. Heck my only real gripe is with it being sub only as I'm more accustomed to dub and miss a lot of the dialogue during missions as a result. That's more of a personal hangup though, the voice acting is equally fantastic in both dubs to be honest, though I do like that one distinct roar more in the english dub.

You disabled gore -.-, and cutscenes are videos they won't change, when you disable gore you will get less blood when killing titans in gameplay only, also how bloody your clothes get.

No, I didn't. Try reading my post a bit more closely. The option stated that saying yes would disable gore so I clicked no. There's plenty of gore during gameplay as I already stated, my character gets lathered in it after a couple swings. But there's none in the cutscenes at all which is a bit strange.

What type of cutscenes? Also you can clearly see which ones are videos or not, those are premade so you changing any settings doesn't do nothing.

That was an oversight, though I state right after it that there is plenty of blood in the game. Regardless, it has been rectified.
