hm this sounds more like a general issue than a game related one. What does the error message say exactly and is AoT the programm sending out the error? maybe check your default devices on the windows sound settings

go to start- type in printer (then automatically you will see DEVICES AND PRINTERS) and see if you have any game controllers installed. Right click and uninstall/delete them. Also go to sound settings and make sure there arent two different sound things activated. Make sure one is set as default

Also try running game with usb devices unplugged from your pc

Run game as administrator

go to task manager startup tab, disable all, reboot. This disables all non-windows programs from starting at launch. This clears up memory and apps both using different sound settings

solution for me was going into windows sound settings and disable microphone. devs are currently working on a patch

I'd this problem for One Piece Pirate Warriors.
I had my Afterglow headphones set as my default sound device. Change your defaults for sound to a different device and it should work, it worked for me anyways.
Installing a current Direct X could help too!
