How long is the singleplayer?
Thinking about picking this up and giving it a go because i like the anime and the dynasty warriors look. How long does the game last in the campaign/singleplayer portion? I don't play multiplayer much, so I'm not too worried about that

Also, will a 360 controller work ok? As in, is it as easy as DW8 to set up?

360 controller should work though there might be some issues with inputs not working correctly.
The Campaign Single Player is about 8-12 hours however there's a lot of stuff to do afterwards like side quests etc... there's also alot of unlockables if you want to go 100% on everything. It will take quite a while.

I am ~15 hours now in the game and still not done with the story. But maybe its just me because I do like every sidequest. And yes it works great with the Xbox controller, just check out the rebind thread here somewhere since the binds need a fix

Too short. Beat it at 14 hours.

after the story comes harder missions wich will drop some rare stuff (weapons too as it seems) also the multiplayer is brilliant, even if it's buggy atm.

Singleplayer is decently long, you go through entire season 1, and then it leads to some of season 2 where you fight beast titan, colossal, and armored... It's pretty quick if you play it non-stop just like any other game. Check out my review http://steamcommunity.com/id/KryptoKid/recommended/449800/
Also remember there are a ton of side quests as well.

Season 1 took me 10 hours to complete on hard. Working through the Season 2 stuff now which requires some grind, fun grind but grind nontheless. Later missions vs Beast is quite hard! Took 30 minutes to beat a mission although I do try to get S rank and complete the special mission as well.

The mission VS the beast was the first time I ever backed out and went back to the camp. Apparently my gear is just not up to the task. It didn't help the fact that the beast was surrounded by more than TEN titans...

I don't quite consider myself a Gamer, because I don't go out of the way to 100% everything, but I beat the story mode in around 6-7 hours.

Nothing too hard about it, and the game in general is easy. In all honesty, the AI when it comes to enemies, is pretty stupid. And the "End Game" boss (won't say who due to spoilers) only needs their arms cut off, to expose their weak point, and is really the only "Giant" with any note-worthy AI.

I also did not play on "Easy" mode, because "easy" mode is for people who don't play games. Didn't really notice if there was a hard difficulty either, if there was/is, I didn't bother, because a game's difficulty/replayability is pretty much done the first playthrough, and if "hard" mode, or harder modes weren't there to begin with, not worth "my time" to replay it again, as I myself would just get bored.

Working on Expedition now, but ONLY because of Hange Zoe. Best char NA.
I'm around 4.5 hours in now. Also a few missions into chapter 3 (judging by achievements the game is 4 chapters long). At this rate I expect it to be a 7 or 8 hour long game.

8 hours on hard. Like many other musous (kind of) it is really easy. Not as easy as Pirate Warriors 3 but close.
