> Would be nice if you could group guns on the fly to a number key, so that you could give orders together etc and groups would automatically hold fire till all are ready for salvo.
True.
BTW there's additional unmentioned hotkey:
E - manually fire current weapon (if it's set to hold fire)
Others see here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=671119050
Not perfect but with WASD + pause it's manageable. Far better than playing mobile version with no hotkeys.
And too bad no modding support. I couldn't even find a way to cheat/mod/edit to try out all perks. Orange ones are pretty cool!
Theoretically you maybe can collect all perks or at least the most cool ones but it requires too many restarts(with swapping saves back) to be feasible. I tried. After each mission you have a chance to get new perk but even with maxed out chance it's not high enough :(
Also it seems the more perks you already have - the less the chance. Probably game rerolls same perk again and just drops it then?
Anyway i recommend getting some orange perks, it's what makes second playthrough more intreresting. You can reroll first level when you get a perk until you get what you want, because it's the only level with 100% chance… Hmm, if only i could find a way to edit that chance for other levels…
Devs, please, give us some tool or instruction
BTW enemy forts DO have perks too! Click their name at the bottom of the screen IIRC. Some have immunity to fire or poison for example.
Also I wish the perk selection was alittle more ordered but I guess it's a mobile game so options are limited ^^
But a sequel with a map where you pick your battles across the whole front with turns and random events in multiplayer.... a map can dream ;)
If it was - i'd replay this game 2-3 times again, even though missions are linear. Still perks(especially orange ones) do add flavor.
> Also I wish the perk selection was alittle more ordered but I guess it's a mobile game so options are limited ^^
What do you mean? After reopening that screen they usually resort themselves, so you always see different colors of the same perk in a row.
> But a sequel with a map where you pick your battles across the whole front with turns
Or at least randomly-generated forts with increasing difficulty. Events would be nice too. This game really could be "FTL with forts". But for now it's just a linear non-replayable strategy. They got into wrong niche - this game is not casual but nor it has enough content for hardcore players.
Here are my saves BTW if you wanna see how's it like to have 50 perks to choose and also what equipment i use(hint: i center on boarding, Charon + lasers are almost unbeatable)

If you find a way to cheat/edit/unlock perks - PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I'm dying to try them all out T_T
Do you know where savegames are stored?
Well, i tried editing them, in hex-editor since they're binary, but that didn't work, maybe they're encrypted/compressed or have a checksum inside. I'm just dreaming of trying them all :(
See my saves how cool orange perks are, they're unique, unlike white/green/blue they're not just another numerical bonus but can do as much as add another soldier to your base and other cool powerful things.
Well, or just any other ideas how to "spice up" second full playthrough. Really boring because missions are the same.
For my region Steam version is cheaper than max payment for mobile as well.
On mobile you can mess around using Game Guardian, it's basically a Cheat Engine for Android. But it's best used on Android 4 AFAIK and requires root. And on low RAM devices it might cause reboots. On PC it would be faster and easier, yeah.
> They didnt consider this game succesful enough?
Well, i judge it on amount of reviews on Steam and rating. I love this game too, really unique approach and robust mechanics. Really needs some replayability.
