How about a few tips to help you:

1) You can change your controller settings from hardcore to simplified which means you can pull off special moves with two button presses. To do this go to the pause menu and select control type and switch hardcore to simplified.

2) After you have cleared the first section of the park before the swinging spikey traps. Head back towards the swings and you should see a cone on top of a wooden structure. Double jump to get up here and bash the cone, then two zombies will appear that you can hit to give you weapons, 1-ups, energy, points and cash!

3) When you get to the charger zombies there is a crate to smash which will drop a health pack - smash the crate whilst killing the other zombie types and don't pick up the heath until you need it.

4) Use the dodge/roll feature to roll out of the way of the charging zombie and then strike with a special - you should be able to take them down with persistence.

5) Team up with friends, the game is great in co-op!

These tips dont help us.

Some zombies moves are unpredectible like the one teleporting into our back. I evade 1 on 100 because you need some ninja reflexes to have the instinct to evade that!

This game is so hard, I can't even finish it into normal mode. It is insane. I don't play it anymore. If I didn't play it for 3 hours, I would ask for a refund!

Some tips with the dodge-roll and the 'Gorilla' (charging) zombies.

Dodge-Roll directly upwards or downwards to avoid the charge move and any other attack the gorilla zombie does. Dont dodge left or right.
Basically, get below him, walk directly up onto him and get in a few punches. As soon as he gets into ANY of his startup animations, dodge-roll directly downwards 2 or 3 times in a row (mash the dodge-roll button), wait till his attack animation is complete then move back onto him. If he charged and movd away, then you'll have to find him again (obviously). Just always make sure you are moving onto him from directly above or below.

Dealing with multiple gorilla zombies is a pain in the ass, but its just a case of trying to get them to either sync up so they are both in the same place, or seperating one off - sometimes the AI 'forgets' about the one you arent close to.
Don't get too greedy getting hits in, and dodge away as soon as one of them starts its attack animation.

I think if you mash the dodge-roll button fast enough you remain invulnerable through multiple rolls (seems to work for the electrified zombie boss anyway).

Some nice info on the charger, a few extra points that may help with this enemy

There are two general methods for dealing with the charger.

When you are familiar with the attacks you can go toe to toe, this is all about quick dodging, he has a delayed attack and a quick attack that makes him a little unpredictable at first.

If you don't want to face the charger head on, you can go the strategic route, the charger has a dizzy state that will trigger if he does 2 - 3 charges within a short period of time. When you get a feel for the timing you'll be able to tell if his charge will result in a dizzy state in advance, when you see this coming, if you don't stray too far you'll be able to do a fair amount of damage before he recovers.

If you stay out of his melee range he is more likely to use his charge attack, so you can keep your distance and bait him into more regular charges to trigger this weakness.

The charger will target your position at the time that he starts the ground thumping, he doesn't track your movement after that point, so you should avoid doubling back on yourself when you hear those thumps.

The charge move itself, you can't dodge through it as this is a special attack that trumps your dodge roll invulnerability.

And the general note, the levels are filled with hidden chests and secret destructables, these are a good source of extra 1ups, if you need that extra edge then explore the environment, not all destructables are on the ground.

Hi, in the case of the dodgers, there may be a couple of pointers that help a little with these

The dodger will not dodge grab attacks, if you are having trouble rolling when they do the counter attack then this is likely the route you'll want to go with these enemies, using this method on this enemy you will never have to deal with the counter attack. The piledriver special can also help maximise the damage you can get out of grab situations.

The more advanced route with these enemies that also gives you safety from the counter is juggling, most normal enemies can be juggled, a dodger can't dodge attacks while being juggled in the air.
Use secondary attack to knock them in the air and do as much damage as you can before they land, getting a final special hit in before they land is a good way to maximise damage.

The first hit to get them in the air always has the chance of triggering a counter, but you can use alternative moves to achieve this such as the running kick, if the enemy counters your kick you will have an easier time getting out of range as you travel while doing this move.

I submitted a refund request at 3 hours gameplay. Sadly it seems its the only way the developers will take notice. Game requires an easier setting where enemies do much less damage not because of player skill but because the gameplay is too clumsy to keep up with the massivly ramped up challenge after a few levels. I highly highly doubt the poster who complained about the last level did not beat all 11 previous levels without some type of hack/cheat code.

Are you serious about the hack/cheat code? The game is hard at first but, like with most games, the more you play the better you get. You discover new enemy types and, after encountering them more often, you figure out how to dodge their attacks, no ninja reflexes required. Well, maybe ninja reflexes are needed for the P.R.I.C.K. bosses.

And if you really think there is some mysterious hack/cheat code in order to beat the levels before the final one, you may be right about the PC version but I am actually playing on PS4.

Also, a developer responded to the initial post. No refunded request needed.

This game, Bloody Zombie, is WAY harder than anything I played. I am not some kind of teen rage quitter, I did my homework, and I will keep my review as "bad" until the developpers consider to adjust the game. Last time I checked, this game gets only 60% positive, so I am not the only one to think so.

I appreciate your input Infected Ronin. It sounds like we're about the same age, so I found your perspective helpful. I was considering this game, but will definately put it on hault considering your words.

I originally was going to ask if the game scales down in difficulty according to the number of ppl playing, I play sp, but if difficulty is the same for 2-3 ppl as it is for 1, then there's no point in me considering this.

Hey, just to let you know since the OP the game has been updated to feature an Easy mode that should address your concerns about playing SP. ^Dan

Thanks for the information. Could you answer my other question?

Thanks.

The game does scale and you get more zombies to deal with more players. Bosses have more health. ^Dan

Thanks for the information again.
You may want to consider adding a demo..

Something ppl can leisurely play without watching the clock so much if testing it out while in a refund window **(not to mention, refunds aren't limitless in Steam, as some devs seem to think, I've read of ppl being cautioned about how many refunds they had, so it's not an answer to those wanting a demo all the time).

As it is, with no demo, I will follow the game, but I have other games I am sure about that will take priority, if this one had a demo, it would've been more of a priority. (just feedback)

Appreciate the feedback, if you were to pick up the game would you be playing in VR? ^Dan
