hey, it is normal to loose 6 hearts after one hit at this place ? i haven't the full ice set

That’s not normal if you wear at least the ice armor

weird i finish the volcano with full ice set but still 6 hearts for any damages.. i'm at the end of the game and now the enemy's hit only 3hearts

It also depends on the enemies and their locations what damage you get. Enemies in later areas usually inflict more damage than those in earlier areas.

The Volcano is Brutal and the Mansion afterwords is even harder in the Puzzle Department....

i finished the volcano after so many times inside, i wanted to leave the game, this dungeon as no sense. But i've continued and i'm at the end of the game, but something should be done for volcano, that's not normal to get so many damages and weird "checkpoints" rentals.

I "ve also found a glitch for using the" boung "(idk the name in english) just by taking a checkpoint and quitting the game, your character reappear where the "boung" is but without having to do be all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ run

It's not that hard, why do people want finish their game quickly without using their brain, casuals :)
Don't nerf the game please, it's perfect how it is, classics games like Wonder Boy series were hard too.
Yeah, there should be maybe some tips about buying the next armor and stuff, depending of the next area idk, with all the ice armor set, i had no problem at revisiting the volcano but without that, It can hurt yeah

do i said the game was hard ? no, i was just asking if that was normal to take so many damages :)

Did you ask why someone would want to finish a Metroidvania quickly?
Because that's the point of them to be completed multiple times quickly.

We had the ice armour and as much health as possible but what's the point of having 20 hearts if you are constantly having huge chunks of health being taken off and then coming back with only a fraction of the total when you get killed in 1 hit anyway.....
(Defeats the whole point and also for the puzzles when you don't even get to concentrate on figuring out the puzzle cause you keep getting killed in 1 hit, once you know how to do them they are easy....)

Metroidvanias usually get easier the more you collect, so if you want a real challenge you do low % runs.

Basically, with the teleport staff and let's say the save point near the lighthouse the volcano becomes much easier. And with the whole ice armor set that makes you completely immune to lava, fire, the long fire snakes, and 80 % of the bosses attacks, the volcano becomes (with some exceptions) really easy.

If you have not the full ice armor set then at least have the ice armor and the upgrade for the ice armor that gives you an additional defense bonus.

Oh you have to wear the full set or it is useless?
Well that would explain why i was still getting one shotted despite wearing the armor......

The ice armor alone (no set required) will reduce any fire damage by 50%, can you tell me what kills you in one shot while wearing the ice armor? This sounds like a bug to me... how many hearts do you have? The complete upgraded set will nullify any fire damage but it's not required for the volcano, you should be able to beat it without big issues when you wear ice armor. Also, the latest update of the game gives you 5 hearts refill upon respawning at a small savespot (rule starting with the Volcano level).

Already 100% when it came out before that patch, that patch did not help me it was too late by that point, the lava geisers and i forget what enemies (safe to assume all of them).

Again as i said didn't matter how many hearts i had because you only respawn with a fraction of them and that is when i was getting one shotted.

it wasn't that big of an issue my point was that it was a giant buzzkill and not fun at all and will effect me ever replaying the game from the start.

One bug i did experience tho was that water level maze, i raised the water level and it forced me through the ceiling soft locking the game and forcing me to reload.

Unless you make a new game plus mode where you keep the human form instead of being the pig for half the game and only unlocking the Human form with the Dash ability for the last %10 prob won't start from scratch...
