Haunted Manor - 2 orbs puzzle

I am in that room where I need to light 2 orbs simultaneously in order to open a gate. There is a ghost respawning so my little blue flying friend can eat it and fill his meter.

I am reflecting the light coming from the ceiling with my shield towards the angel mirror who reflects it in the upper right orb.

Next, I use Pelagoo or whatever his name is to light the upper left mirror with its beam in order to light the upper left orb.

However, no matter how I try, I can't seem to hit the right angle spot so the light hits the mirror at an angle where it will be reflected into the orb.

I know this is what I am supposed to do as even a walkthrough explained it this way, yet in my situation it does not work. Pelagoo is too high above my character in order to be able to hit the left mirror at the right angle.

Anyone else with similar issue? At this point I am considering uninstalling the game since I cannot progress anymore.

Nevermind, I used my mouse aim in order to get the right angle, because joystick did not work. It kind of skipped angles.
