OMG, jumping puzzles. Does anyone really like these?

Jumping puzzles are often a pain in first person games, but honestly I don't think it's an issue with this game. You get the ability to slow down time early on, so there is very little frustration in the platforming.

There was plenty frustration for me. Especially the fact, that you cant save whenever you want and will have to repeat the whole thing if you die. Adrenaline doesnt always help....

Yeah, I was tearing my hair out in a few places. It's so hard to tell where you are in space in first person.

Can't get past last jump even using adrenaline. The problem sees to be that when left shift is held down to run the jump space bar no longer works! When left shifted released jump will them work but speed has reduced and can never reach the other side of the last chasm! Really annoying as this game was supposed to be about puzzles and not finger dexterity!

Hello mikewesson. This issue seems to be happening because of your keyboard.
Do you know if it happens to you in other games like this?
You can try to rebind the run or space button to another to see if it works.
Anyway, we're going to add some options for people with that problems.

What worked like a charm? I've tried with keyboard and gamepad and can't get over it.

I went into the room with the green gas and opened a grated window which I went through and it closed behind me. I went into an air duct and made the first two jumps using adrenaline but even with running and adremaline, I can't make the 3rd jump. I've tried keyboard and game controller. I had to quit out of game so I imagine I will have lost back to the last save (which was right before or after the green gas room I believe).

Once you're in the air jumping you should not release the running button. Could be that the problem?

I did get over that 3rd jump by holding both buttons down continuously. I have not had any luck getting over that last set of cogs, though. Tried several times--keyboard and controller.

Are you doing it like him? It's weird because I tried over and over again to see if it is something wrong there and I don't see anything.

I implemented something that could change a bit the platforming and you could try.
In C:\Users\[your user]\AppData\LocalLow\3D2 Entertainment\The Crows Eye\Config.ini (remember to show hidden folders) change the line Ghosting=False to Ghosting=True and tell me if it works for you. Once you change the file, reload the game.

I'm sorry, it didn't work. Still stuck there. I watched the video but couldn't see where he did anything different. I'm usually pretty good at platforming.

Could you send me the log file? Usually found at C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\The Crow's Eye\TheCrowsEye_Data\output_log.txt
Upload it on pastebin, for example, and paste the link here.
