Report a translation problem
it crashes at the start of the world generation / game loading right at the start (like a couple mm of blue loading bar which i think the screen starts on and then it won't continue...after a while the crash report comes).
i've send you two yesterday via e-mail.
EDIT: for clarification, i never had this problem before ... but i also haven't played it for a while. saw all the new updates and the 1.4 with the new mouse controls and wanted to jump right back in. hope this is fixable.
Which email did you used?
get it from google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByAthz5DCekcal9QM25WUUVmeHc/view?usp=sharing
Edit: ... System specs:
Win10 X64
Intel Core i5 4440
8 GR RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7850 (newest version, but no WHQL anymore cuz oldish GPU)
Using Win10 Avir System so i doubt it's that.
EDIT 2: funny thing is, when i tried "win7 compatibility" then it would start the game ...load the intro (dev title / symbol + intro animation) which i canceled with LMB and then instantly close the game without creating a crash dump.
when i used admin rights on it then it started the game for a millisecond just to close it up again.
...kinda weird stuff going on.
EDIT3: i think it might have something to do with the detail settings. it crashed on me in the settings menue when i tried switching from "good" (highest) to "fastest" (lowest). when i picked the lowest (fastest) setting in the launcher he still showed me "good" (the highest) in the options menue. quite weard.
Got it.
weirdly my e-mail didn't catch the 2nd attachment but sent two times the same file. the google drive link also has another crash dump from yesterday.

EDIT: just tried running the game using my onboard gpu (intel hd 4600) it runs like crab...halfway acceptable at EVERYTHING on low but it runs and doesn't crash. so definitely a GPU related issue.
I think Validating is fixing it. I dont know what happened, but about 1/2 of my old games say they need to "reaquire" files....Weird. Anyways, big fan of your work. I liked world of magic....I hope you guys keep perfecting your craft in bringing Master of Magic into the modern age XD
1.Run the game in DirectX9 mode
2. Reinstall DirectX11
3. Install newest graphics driver with fresh installation if available as option.
4. Try running the game from the folder instead of steam, with option "Run as Administrator".
yes i did it already several times.
