Bugs and Technical issues - READ FIRST!
Hi,

To clear up discussions and make our lives easier in terms of supporting the game and fixing it, I've just created new subforum dedicated for bugs and technical issues
Please report such things here:

Technically it's both a bug and a feature ^_^

Of course you can only ever have six heroes, so no matter how much you cast after you ahve six, you'll never get one. That part is the feature.

Unfortunately, the game counts dead and dismissed heroes against your total for the purpose of summoning spells. That part is the bug.

You can always hire heroes at Inns, though, as long as you have no more than five living active heroes. To be honest, I find Inns a better source of heroes than spellcasting; just get a very low-cost unit like Archer/Legionnaire/Spearman/Thrall and sit it on or near an Inn and check every now and then to see what new stuff the Inn has. You can get a lot of very nice units and heroes that way.

This is also one of my gripe. I am playing with Surface pro 4 on gigantic map. It doesn't happen all the time. But some times you click on a unit it doesn't response. Instead, you ended up moving another units. I think the game is lag in path finding algorithm.

I am on same device with same problem.

Looking at let's play videos I was amazed as mine lags a lot and is less fluid.

Minor UI issue. During the setup phase of a battle, before you press the "Start Combat" button, you can RIGHT click on a unit to bring up its stats. However, if you do so, you will be unable to move the screen (rotate, shift, tilt etc.) afterwards. RIGHT clicking after battle has begun still works fine though.

Until fixed, you can probably get back the map movement by hitting Esc twice. Works for me, and I do have the same problem you describe.

Thanks for that. A couple of times I had to reload from a save because I had moved the map, putting my units off the screen, then could not get the move feature back.

I saw no answer to the Mana Issue. I have about 250 Mana Points a turn in spells going and I'm at negative 1K per turn of Mana income. What gives? I do see wrath of God, but what does that mean, there is no explaination.

Are you casting global enchants and crafting artifacts? Both of those will pull down your mana income as well as your spell maintenance. If it's late in the game, it's reasonable to believe you might have a spellcraft of 200-300, so that could be 400-600 mana a turn, not even counting the upkeep for all your enchantments and summoned units. Wrath of God shouldn't ("shouldn't") hit your mana income.

Not casting spells or making any artifacts. Spell craft is close to 200.

Do you have a lot of units that require mana upkeep? If it's not global casting and crafting, and it's not unit upkeep, then I'm no use to you. Sorry.

All summoned and units and Titans are less than 100 Mana. I went through and counted everything up (pain) and looked to see if there is some spell cast on my wizard and I don't see any. Last turn I was at -600 mana income, I adjust income to increase mana income, no spells no Artifacts and bam it goes to -1K.

Is it just me or are others still experiencing occaisional save file corruption? Every 20 turns or so something happens to where save files just won't load anymore.

Not sure if this is already known or not but I have a recurring bug when attacking a city and an enemy unit moves onto the gate tile and I fire a catapult at the gate it doesn't register hitting the gate or the unit and freezes the game with the hourglass turn icon and I cannot do anything except ctl-alt-del out, restart and reload the game making sure I do not do the same thing otherwise it freezes again.

The game sometimes freezes after combat in a city under the protection of stone sentenials. So far as I can tell, it happens when the defending unit capacity is maxed out. Although the garrison units do not seem to freeze the game, the summoned units do when there are more than 16 units defending a city. This occurs regardless of whether I play the battle or use the auto combat feature.

The game freezes after the battle (or auto combat) on the battle summary display. I should be able to click "OK," but there is no response.
