Hello scavengers, here comes our last briefing for this week, right before the weekend starts!

• Fractured Mind: Fixed skipping the dialogue in the Crypt causing the Mausoleum key to never appear .

• Eugenesys' Doom: Fixed a softlock where the final boss () could reach 0 HP without triggering the final cinematic.

• Echos of Suffering: Fixed Asterion's death animation not triggering correctly when killed while stunned.

• Paralysis no more: Fixed Kassandra and Hugo being vulnerable to paralysis. Both are now immune to it. (sorry! :wesker:)

• Character's unique weapon: Fixed weapon assignment issues allowing the Katana and Revolver to be used by the wrong character.

• Pushed away: Fixed players being pushed away during a game mode transition.

• Backward steps: Fixed enemies occasionally following an invalid path when moving backwards.

• Save thumbnail: Fixed a missing save thumbnail for Wound in the Stronghold.

Next week we are shifting focus to performance improvements and hardware-related crashes, along with a long-requested FPS cap option in the settings.

We are also making solid progress on the balancing front, enough to potentially ship two new game modes:

• Story, for players who want to soak in the atmosphere and narrative without fighting for their lives every other turn.

• Normal, the true survival horror experience we always intended. and yes, it will be harder than the current difficulty. You asked for it. :stress:

Hello scavengers, here comes a second patch for this week :OL2bandage:

• Eugenesys' Doom: Fixed a softlock caused by Leopoldo equipping the Katana, which also resolves several animation issues when using the Katana with Leopoldo and the Revolver with Amber.

• Voice from the Darkness: Fixed a softlock occurring near a Valuable in the tunnels area.

• AP & door exploit: Fixed an exploit where interacting with a locked door during combat would restore all AP, and interacting again would grant additional AP.

• Falling twice: Fixed falling events triggering twice, and prevented characters from moving while a falling sequence was in progress.

• Enemy death animations: Fixed enemies being able to trigger their death action twice, which may have been the root cause of several issues reported by players.

• Corrupted level after Game Over: Fixed the Game Over screen processing the replay button multiple times, which could lead to a corrupted level state.

• Discarding items bug: Fixed an issue preventing players from discarding ammunition, healing items, and boosters from the inventory.

• Invisible player character: Applied a technical fix that may resolve cases of the player character turning invisible.

• Demo save: Preparing a patch for the Demo to be able to carry over save file and continue in the full game.

We are currently working on updating the Demo version of the game so the save files from it can now be carried over and continued in the full game. This was something we had implemented in the past but did not work properly after the many updates we pushed since launch.

We are close to stable version and clean system and we will release the fix alongside with a re-activation of the demo in the coming days! If you have friends who will want to give the game a try, then the demo will be their best first step into it!
