What setups are people using?

My current setup Is a defender with extra AP regen and shield bash, followed by a machinist with transfer -> reconstruct -> defence grid behind him to get the extra damage on the shield bash, and a mage behind him again with fast forward -> corrupt to fuel my heal/buff engine. I haven't found a good use for my fourth character yet, usually I put him as a gunner or duelist next to the mage and have them do cool combos whenever their AP is full, but it doesn't feel like it synergizes as well with the rest of the team. If I could get another fast forward gem I'd probably have them in a cube with the second mage giving AP to the first mage and the defender, and just toss out buffs and bashes with no limit. Though I expect that fast forward is a story only drop and the devs won't let me have two. :P

I currently have two gunners, a brute (or whatever they're called), and a fourth one which I've been switching between machinist and duelist. Can't seem to figure out the mage, or defender yet. As it stands, I have a great offensive battery, but defense-wise I'm shot. Should begin to experiment and see what happens.

i'm having fun with a brute duelist combo: brute with extra movement star runs up to the target and does suplex + slam, duelist with extra ap star waits 2 tiles behind him and just spams kick as soon as the target is in position.

kick seems to do huge extra damage when the tile behind the target is occupied and with this setup i can instagib the first enemy i reach.

Kicking a target into one of your allies will deal some pretty hefty bonus damage (it will hurt your ally a bit, but if they're a Brute... they can take it!). You might also want to try using Kick near ledges that have a noticeable drop (like the off shack roofs in the Refugee Quarter)!
