At the moment, I do not recommend this game. I bought it because of the 'Hack it!' contest, but its not worth it.
The first part I had to restart because I couldn't move. The second part there was talking for a few minutes, then I had to restart AGAIN because I couldn't move. When I finally find a terminal, I can't get out of it in ANY way, without restarting.

In current state, do NOT buy. It's broken and missing ALOT of things.

As others have stated, I got stuck in the terminal and had to quit the game to get out.
There is no way to replay the radio conversations and read what they're talking about. Which would be useful, because the guy tells you a login and password, but if you're not ready with a screen shot you'll miss it and not be able to see it again.

Perhaps I'll revisit this game later, if they decide to patch it with a number of fixes and updates.

This is the game currently: You walk through a few halls, go to a terminal, type login & password information (see the discussion forums), then alter some text. If that's what you look for in a game, then by all means buy it!

The publisher/developer states "at the moment this is an intervention pilot version. Anti-game or a game-contest with a great challenge". In other (English) words, this is not the actual game that 'Envoy 2' is supposed to be.. it's not even remotely like 'Envoy' which itself is a 2D shmup. Also, the developer on that game was "NCE Software Games". Here it's the same as the publisher.. so will it actually be anything similar to Envoy when this "intervention pilot version" is replaced? (IF it's replaced) Who knows! The fact is, right now it's not an actual game. Oh, and it's not an Early Access title either..

The sequel to Envoy, which was a shoot'en up. It was not a particularly good SHMUP, but at least it was an acceptable game that offered some fun and that I sunk some hours in.

Envoy 2 does not meet any of those criteria: it is not a game, it is not fun, it is not good ... you know what, it is even not acceptable that they charge money for this. This was a contest: you walk through a hallway and then have to hack (read: guess) the password and finally solve a sort of mini-puzzle. That's it. That's 10 minutes of your time (plus a couple of hours to idle cards in my case).

If you're an absolute optimist, you could consider it a very short tech-demo, but then again I wonder exactly what tech is being showed off here, because there is nothing that cannot be found in other games. At first I assumed it was an Early Access entry and the actual gameplay still had to be added later, but it simply isn't ...

Oh, and the contest is already over. So even stating that this is a "hacking contest" is giving it too much credit.

Currently this "game" is nothing and that is what I recommend you value it. Even at the price that they are now charging (0.99 €), even should a 95% discount apply to that, you are still being ripped off. Think about the other things you can do with that money - even throwing those few cents into a sewer grate will offer you more satisfaction that rewarding these developers for such a scam.

Seriously, this "game" serves as a massive red flag to be very suspicious of everything Nova Dimension puts on Steam from now on.

For the TLDR crowd:

Pro:
- Graphics are ok-ish, although not by 2016 standards.
- Trading cards.
- Ehrm ...
- Really, I cannot thing of anything else.

Contra:
- Everything else.

The developer of Envoy was "NCE Software Games". The developer of this abomination (Envoy 2) was apparently called "NDev" who seems to be their own publisher as well. I have no idea what Envoy 1 was about but it looks like it got some decent reviews compared to this complete rip off of my 10 cents. Barely even ran to keep minimized for the cards while I was idling. There's also some kind of discussion about a "Win 10,000 dollars for entering some kind of code" in the game. This is fake. It's trying to get attention for this worthless pile of ♥♥♥♥. Do not buy whatever Envoy 2 is.

If you want to have a little fun, try to change resolution ... after that you know everything about that game and its developer.

Thx Steam for selling such rip offs, but slowly I get used to it.
Thats why I here dont buy any games anymore and wait for indiegala or other bundles ...
But ok, Gaben needs more Ferraris ...
