I'm not sure about the demo.. but the release version works fine for me.. bear in mind im on an i7 8700k @ 4.7ghz with a 980Ti and so far been a smooth experience, at least at 100% resolution with the same resolution as the Vive Pro. I'm about to try it out @ 1.5.
Edit:My aging 980Ti can't handle supersampling but the game works And still running a higher res than the vive with no SS to give you some kind of performance/hardware comparison. . Without downloading it and checking my guess is it's just an issue with the free teaser.
It needs to be active for loading to occur.
It also needs all sensors on.
Hold your finger on the internal sensor that tells if you're wearing it while it loads, then proceed to put on the headset afterwards
You can bind your controls outside of VR and then use them in VR.
The binding for resetting your view can be changed as well, so you could link it to a button or function on your HOTAS
I personally play using keyboard and mouse in VR. Doesn't take too long to get used to, and it taught me touch-typing, so now I don't have to look at my keyboard to type anymore.
Might just be an issue with the Demo, the game is not terribly expensive so I will probably go ahead and get the full game as I do want to support the devs.
This game is AWESOME in VR.
I totally recommend it to Buy it.
I have to say it though, the experience is there at the highest settings and a 2.0 ss rate when you run the game on a 2080ti. The reason im posting this is because of all the ones that struggled, Overload has performed the best with the boost in graphics power. I don't use the Buttery smooth term, but it's that.
Overload will want for nothing when the next gen of cards become more mainstream.
