It is possible to convert Descent levels into Overload levels. One guy on Discord has done levels 2 and 6 including replacements of bots and powerups. I don't know if anyone will ever get around to Destsat 15, but it would be a good choice.
I'd really like to see what could be done with its ideas, recombined in a new way.
Lucky. We didn't get that game when my parents bought their first modern computer (for '96 ideas of "modern"). We got other games, but not that one. I had to wait two more years before I played the Descent games for the first time.
I had the same experience. I was thrilled when the final level of that version was included in levels of the world which I picked up many years later.
Honestly I cannot remember, I would have to load up levels of the world and I am not sure it works on my computer. I think it was something like "Saturn15" but I am not sure.
