Though I can't find mention of it here, but that doesn't neccesarily mean it isn't there

They mentioned something like 16 different projections in that video, I suppose if you had say 4 or more displays you could potentially completely surround yourself with monitors using SMP to get much of the same feel as using HMD w/o a HMD.
