I have a strange setup for a righty for mouse and keyboard (my keyboard has the typical standard 104-key layout):

I should explain my mouse buttons. I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical, so I have 5 buttons: left, right, wheel, and a left side button and a right side button.
Mouse0 is my left mouse button.
Mouse1 is my right mouse button.
Mouse2 is my wheel.
Mouse3 is my left side button.
Mouse4 is my right side button.
Have you noticed any significant difference when changing the AUTO-LEVELING and KEYBOARD-RAMPING settings ?
It's difficult to describe the differences. All I can say is, try each setting to see what the differences are.
The reason why I tried it was due to the game play footage they had of the original Playable Teaser. They were using Auto-Leveling with the 90-degree rolling, so I decided to see what that was like. I haven't disabled Auto-Leveling ever since. It's a million times better for me this way because I can focus on playing the game instead of simultaneously dividing my attention between keeping myself level and playing.
Auto-Leveling in Overload is the way auto-leveling should have been in Descent. It's done extremely well, and it's especially awesome with 90-degree rolling (I know I'm repeating myself, but it's worth it).
W=up Space=down S=forward X=backwards
Leaving A & D & Q & E & Mouse in default.
