D-pad not working on generic controller

Hi! Please help. D-pad is not working when I play Overcooked! on my generic controller (snes style). I already finished the main levels using this controller last Jan. I log in last night and suddenly the dpad is not working anymore. i tried configuring it already. Even tried to set rstick to dpad buttons but still does not work. Any solutions?
