Either I cannot even enter the game single player with controller (controller 2 which i don't even have keeps coming up), or with the keyboard one, I cannot use my arrow key to change character, just gets stuck and can't play.
Any help would be appreciated
There is absolutely no excuse not to have rebindable keys. It is absolutely trivial to implement. The only thing that takes a modicum amount of time if the UI in the options menu to actually set it up. If this is not the case then I dare not think about the spaghetti code that must have been used to program the rest of the game.
I am not sorry for being blunt here. Key rebindings are a mandatory feature for any game. You can never assume that your player base all use a certain keyboard. We have different layouts, some have disabilities, some of us use Dvorak rather than QWERTY, some of us have ergonomic keyboards with strange physical layouts. The list goes on.
Get your act together!
Really enjoying the game but my pinky is killing me from holding down ctrl. Would be amazing if I could change the keybinds :)
I own a Microsoft surface laptop which does not have a right ctrl button, making it impossible to play with two people.
They seriously have to update the keybinding.
It's really something fun that I want to play but I physically cannot play for more than a few minutes, it's especially bad for a game that requires frantic button pressing for a long period of time.
#IfWinActive, Overcooked

Numpad4::A
Numpad5::S
Numpad6::D
Z::LCtrl
X::LShift
C::LAlt

Obviously, it would be better if the developers would add the feature into the game natively, but Autohotkey works great for all those games that can't be bothered to add a control remapping feature.
It's been two years since this discussion was initiated, but I'm hoping it can still be done. :(
I just want to remap away from the default setup. Even to just have it on my mouse keybinds without having it affect things outside of Overcooked. I love this game, but my hand cramps from being stuck in that little corner with WASD/Ctrl/Shift/Alt.
