Generic USB controller support
How can I use my generic usb controller in the game? I've been playing with my sister in the same keyboard, but it would be better to play using my usb controller, but I simply cannot make it work, is there some way?

overcooked is capable of reading any d-input controller. Use x360ce as ZITAPIS to emulate a dinput controller. I was even able to get gamecube controllers more or less workign with overcooked

I tried using it but without success, do you guys had to do something specific? I've configured the controller and using it's own test it's working, I copied the files unto the game folder, but still the game does not recognize my controller... Do I need to do something else?

Artur, what configurations you redid in x360ce? I downloaded it again, reconfigured and copied in the game's folder, but the game didn't recognize. It's weird because when I use the same files in the COD's folder, it works fine. Do I need to put into another folder?

Do you own the game? Could be a problem with your not so legal version.

No, my girlfriend does, I'm using mine because I don't have her account, and we are brazillians, so she is no good with english. But the game is original, she bought yesterday.

Hey man, I'm brazilian too and if it helps we could chat in portuguese, but for the controller I downloaded x360ce again (the 1st version did not work) and used a pre-made build for generic usb, after that I just corrected the inputs that were wrong, and everything is inside the game's folder (the same as the game .exe).

Hey there, can you walk me through step-by-step how you got it to work? I'm new to all this and I've downloaded the 64-bit version of x360ce and configured all the buttons, but the game still doesn't recognize my USB controllers. Do I have to copy the x360ce folder somewhere or do anything else on top of that to get it to work?
ZITAPIS Apr 22, 2017 @ 1:53am
I think the x360ce should be placed here c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grip\Grip\Binaries\Win64. Try other folders that have an .exe too

Zitapis is right, but are you still facing problems?

I do. And I don't have any "Grip" folder in "common".
