I have Waited 14 Years for This Game

Bare with me please.

This thread is simply to thank and appreciate the fact Destructive Creations have built this game.

In 2002 there was a game called Operation Blockade which was similar, but simpler in its' content developed by Screaming Games and published by Infogrames. It was less sophisticated as one might imagine and at the time sadly had poor ratings. For me though it has consumed 1000's of hours of play over the years since. By todays standards it still has that 'one more try' pulling power with that feeling of needing to advance to the greater goal and the end of the game.

I can't tell you how much pleasure I have had through that game which still works today on the more advanced operating systems even though I am currently still/only on Win7 SP1.

I'm sure this thread will just be one of many and will be instantly forgettable the moment you read it but it's one of those very rare times I feel I need to comment.

I only bought this game about an hour ago but I feel excited it will be a modern day version of that game which gave me so much pleasure over the past years.

14 years? I have waited much longer. Since IS Defense is a wonderful successor of Commando Libya Part I from 1986, I have been waiting for 30 years :P
