I kind of wish that this game would get a sequal or even a prequal and i see the potential in both. Just something to explain more like how did crow loose his hand or what new schemes he can come up with.

I know it's probably too early for the creators to confirm or commit to something like this, but yes. I'd be all over another Nefarious game if they decided to make one.

More content featuring this world and these characters would be amazing. Nefarious has really become one of my favorite fandoms, and I'd just love to see its world expanded in more official content of any kind.

I would also like : the game is solid enough, but have plenty of place for improvement on what is a rather cool formula! And the characters are just cool enough to deserve to survive for more than one game anyway! :3

I'd love to see some of the failed kickstarter goals make it into the game through some sort of enhanced edition, since it seemed like some parts of the game are unpolished/cut due to low funding.

A sequel would be great! I'm not sure which ending would be considered the true ending in that case, but either one could be a fun game; trying to thwart Mayapple's attempts to end your rule or coming back from a vacation and starting up your old antics again with a new evil plot.

Fairly sure Josh considers the good ending the canon one, but I agree that both timelines would be super-interesting to explore, either officially or in fanwork.

That would be ideal, yes. The game did just come out, so I doubt there will be a sequel in the near future and they will focus on polishing Nefarious. But it's always fun to talk about potential sequel/prequel ideas and see other people's ideas...I think so, anyway.

We've been toying around with the idea of a comic book as one method of continuing the story. Though we haven't fully committed to anything yet.

Though if you did do a comic continuation, I'd definitely be super-interested. It sounds like a lot of people would be. Seeing more continuing adventures of Crow and the gang sounds exciting! I've already fallen in love with this world and these characters, so getting more of it would be fantastic.

Personally, I'd be happy with any kind of method; games, comics, a podcast, or even just a written story. The world of Nefarious and its characters are so much fun

...Y'know, this may be beyond the scope of any sort of official sequel, but it'd be really interesting to see a crossover of the bad/good ending timelines. Like, good-ending Crow's doing some kind of mad scientific experiment and opens a portal to the bad-ending universe where his split-timeline counterpart has successfully conquered the world.

I think I just got an interesting fanfic idea, if nothing else.

Or maybe when Mayapple throws Crow into the Doom Howitzer, something reacts within the machine to send Crow to the bad ending.

Perhaps once Crow manages to fix up the bad ending-verse, perhaps they have to unite up to take down the "Bad ending" crow, who seeks to gather up his army from the bad ending-verse to conquer Crow's world.
