After more than a year of development, Drone Simulator VR 2.0 is finally here.

Over the past year, we've carefully collected your feedback and used it to shape this major update into the experience the community has been asking for. From new drones and gameplay to improved physics, visuals, performance, and countless quality of life features, almost every part of the simulator has been refined.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who shared feedback, reported bugs, and supported us throughout development. Your input played a huge role in making this update possible.

We're very proud of what we've built together and are excited to finally put Drone Simulator VR 2.0 into your hands.

Incorrect viewing position

I play the simulator VR with quest 3, my right eye watch the viewing position is not correct in the game. How to fix it ?

We are working on something big!

After bringing Drone Simulator VR to the most important VR platforms and collecting a lot of feedback and feature requests from our community on Discord, we decided to keep expanding the app with meaningful content updates and technical improvements.

Planned features for upcoming updates

New drones with individual flight behavior
A new challenge focused on package delivery missions
Optional prop guards to protect drones during collisions
Improved landing mechanics for safer landings
Custom controller support, including Radiomaster and DJI controllers
Quality of life features such as savegame reset, exit functionality, and UI improvements to help new users get started
Visual improvements including wind and environmental effects for a more immersive world
New languages, including French and Portuguese
VR avatars that allow you to see yourself as a virtual pilot

Please keep in mind that we are a very small team and cannot work on the project at full capacity at all times. This means some features may take longer or may change in priority. A large portion of the features listed above is already implemented or actively in development.

Control mode 1 & 2 bugged?

With mode 1 I can't strafe and with Mode 2 I can't ascend/descent with my steam VR controllers. Can someone confirm or is the problem on my end? thank you

Hi There, I have no idea why but the FPV mode doesn't work for me. I pressed the button on the controller but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

Product refunded

The title offers a handfull of drone types, from mini through to what look to be 25kg+ units.

Although limited with content at this juncture, the developer is active with the player community and has been working to iron out bugs as well as improve content.

Some feedback on gameplay:
Are the physics hyper realstic? No. There is no weather effects on the drone flight, and the drones do feel a little bit too stable.
Is there FPV Racing?: Kind of, you do have and FPV option, but there is no ability to flip a drone down an elevator shaft at 200km/h. There are time trials on each stage to test your mettle against other drone pilots.
Is it fun?: Yes. Imagine being handed the controls to a $2,000 drone, and nobody cares if you put the blades straight into a railing or wall. You can be cavalier in your approaches to destinations, try flying in confined locations, or just buzz around as you sit back and watch your drone overhead.

What do I wish this title had?: More locations, but not just more static scenes. There are moving entities within some of the maps, so having the ability to track something like a boat going around a lake, or do a fly around a busy boat dock where there are plenty of obstacles to navigate.

Fantastic work, cannot wait to see what else comes from this studio!
